Yoga Workshop – Reconnecting Through Yoga – 27th Sept 2020
One of the most powerful human needs is the need for connection. We all desire a sense of belonging, a feeling of community where we can encourage and support one another. Connection help us to feel complete and offers a sense of purpose. Separation and distancing has been really hard on us all and the emotional fall out from this is yet to reveal itself. As a Yoga teacher I am honoured to have the opportunity to hold space for the expression of our feelings as we reach out and reconnect. There is a deep interconnectedness that brings all living beings together. I am here for you and with you all as we rise through this.
Using asana and pranayama to awaken the emotional side of our practice, we become more sensitised, receptive, aware and responsive both on and off the mat. Through connecting with our stillness to find steadiness and comfort, we find a silent backdrop from where to watch the often agitated mind. I invite you to take this time with others to safely explore your subtle body, welcoming strength and compassion into our journey forward.
